I wrote a nobleman character who fell in love with a poor man from the church, abdicated to be with him, and then found out that the “poor man from the church” was actually a member of the assassin’s guild and the nobleman was his mark, but he fell in love with him too so he lets the nobleman get away. occasionally they pretend to fight and escape one another. I should write their back and forth letters tho omg
