Who has done a diy canopy?

I kinda have done a partial one where my bed is against the wall. I used clothing clips and string to attach curtains to my ceiling boards. I can move my celling board tile things so I ran some string over the dividers. I’ll try and include some more pictures on how I did it

If you have ceiling tiles like mine string and clips are great. You can either tie and clip a line of string across or clip it to the tile dividers like in the bottom right image. I've suggested string honestly because it doesn't fall down like a bunch of clips do but it's has a decently big gap of light. If you clip your curtains you'll get less light coming in however you'll probably need longer curtains.

Here’s what it looks like with clips along the tile dividers, the bottom photo is from midday with the blackout curtains. The downside to this set up was my curtains where a little too short and fell off a lot if I wasn’t careful
