Also no it wasn’t a threat to freedom of speech. Freedom of Speech is a part of the first amendment because during the American Revolution, people who were outspoken against the government, and even those who were against the colonies revolting were murdered, imprisoned, tarred and feathered. Freedom of Speech was designed to protect your right and only your right to speak out against your government. Charlie Kirk just went to colleges to encourage racists to be more outspoken on their racism.

i think this person is mixing it up a little but what they seem to be getting at is that under the SAVE america act you would need to present a birth certificate, passport, or naturalization documents with your legal name and sex on them in order to vote. aside from the fact that many people don't have access to those documents, it also makes it harder for married women to vote as they're more likely to have changed their name since birth/getting a passport
