disney keeps losing the plot with these movies because they’re all too kid-forward. kpop demon hunters is a kid friendly adult movie. disney has been making too many movies with zero adult appeal so the people who actually have purchasing power are not the ones watching the movies. it’s the severe difference in why cars was successful and still good today vs turning red which will age out in 5 years and elio, which will remain permanently irrelevant
