I do not get the appeal of Disneyland over Walt Disney World. I feel like my vacation would feel so incomplete without Animal Kingdom and Epcot, and Hollywood Studios

I’m convinced the people who say they like dl over wdw just say it for the nostalgia

I used to feel the same way until I went to Disneyland a few months ago. It is honestly so much better than WDW. Disney world is better for shows in my opinion but everything else is better at dl

i honestly kinda get it. i haven’t been though so it’s probably just a grass is greener situation

i definitely disagree with that. i don’t think wdw is good enough to justify not visiting a different disney. id like to see all of them eventually

of course i would like to see all of them but i don't feel a NEED to see them bc i've been to wdw. its like im content if this is the only disney resort i'll visit

I'm also just always gonna find WDW to be home. It was the first park i've ever been too. I've worked there, lived there. It holds far too much emotional significance to my life, that none of the other parks will be able to compare. It needs to be normalized to be inherently biased abt something. i'm not writing an academic paper on the differences between DL & WDW, nor am i making a profit off of comparing the two. im just a girl on the internet sharing my feelings.

i understand what you’re saying, but we’ve all worked here and lived here. that’s like the defining aspect of this yik yak. i just personally feel like i do need to visit other parks more now that i work here because i want to see how things differ and how it compares.

??? I lived in SoCal for a decade and our whole family was Disneyland AP holders. By your logic everyone who has done WDW annual vacations since they were young is also doing it for nostalgia.
