love being screamed at by parents when their kids aren’t tall enough to ride and try to make up any excuse to get them to ride

this didn’t happen here but at a summer camp and i was working with five year olds with millennial parents who never disciplined them oh my god. this one kid would never respond well to being told no and one day he was climbing on the pool fence while we were waiting to go so i told him to get down. and he grabbed by hand and dug his little finger nails into it leaving crescent marks and tbh it didn’t hurt that bad bc he was five but like what the hell 😭😭 why did he think that was okay
