As a dining hall employee this is for a few reasons. 1. We have to follow portion sizes that are given by managers 2. Giving someone extra means the next person in line might want extra and then it’s a domino effect, a manager might take notice and we could get in trouble I try to give extra when the line is kinda empty and there’s no manager up my ass.
