It not much if you just list the ingredients but they listed the ingredients ingredients which is kinda cool.

It’s because the US has laws stating that every single ingredient and every ingredient within those ingredients has to be listed. Look at the chicken right at the top. It’s not enough to just say Ponzu Chicken. They also have to write out boneless skinless chicken breast fillet, rib meat, solution of water, sea salt, and sodium phosphates. The Ponzu Chicken was enough. We know what part of the chicken it comes from and what cut it is. And we know there’s salt and water in the chicken.

That is because it’s listing everything in each ingredient, like “sliced red onions (onions)”

The concise list is: Ponzu Chicken, Sliced Tomatoes, Slider Roll, Sliced Red Onions, Wasabi Mayo, Lettuce Leaves

Y’all’s dining halls have accurate ingredient lists? Mine are always vague so I just stopped eating there after getting sick too many times

Btw with baked goods most of those extra mystery ingredients after flour and water are vitamins and minerals that the government requires added so poor people surviving off bread and ramen don’t get vitamin deficiency and croak. This was a huge issue in the past and many developing countries and i think is objectively good for American society because most people would have to get those in like unnecessarily expensive multivitamins instead

-> mayonnaise -> wasabi mayo 99% chance that it is some off the shelf product BTW hf corn syrup is about as bad as processed sugar health-wise, but is slightly sweeter, so less can be used
