I’ve never had a birthday party, it’s going to be my 21st soon, and I honestly don’t even have any friends here to spend it with. Ik my family isn’t doing shit. I never thought I would be in a place where I was GENUINELY alone, but damn. It’s really j me.

OP of other post here: I ended up trying to do the same, I didn’t go out with any friends though since they all live across the country right now, and when I called them, they were all busy and ngl I think they forgot because they didn’t even bring it up when I asked if they wanted to play a game or watch a movie over the phone or smth. I was GOING to do stuff the whole day with my gf but she ended up breaking up with me literally three days before. So I’m HIGHKEY heartbroken and didn’t know

What to do for my bday. I ended up making myself a strawberry cake with one of my chocolate Easter bunnies grinded up ontop of it to make it “special” and lit and blew out my candles in my common room. My brothers didn’t reach out at all, only my mom said happy birthday when I called her later in the day. I honestly didn’t even know how to celebrate this milestone birthday atp, it just feels shitty as a whole. I’m just taking it one day at a time now and hoping it gets better
