They added 16 starts this year. In order to keep up with elimination per episode they had to split it into two and do an elimination per each episode

they shouldn’t have taken so many stars if they knew an elimination would happen. they also could’ve added double eliminations the upcoming weeks after the stars got out their first dance jitters. it would’ve weeded out who should stay and who shouldn’t
