Try making homemade pasta! The dough is pretty basic, I just think rolling it out thin enough takes time. Bolognese sauce is delicious

If you are willing to try baking desserts, sallysbakingaddiction.com has incredible recipes, it’s my go-to site

Homemade gnocchi is p hard to mess up! Bake regular baked potatoes, remove potato skins, add ½ cup flour for each potato, ricotta to taste, and 1-2 eggs depending on how much dough, roll into 1 inch balls and boil in water til they float

If you want something real savory, I would suggest making some classic enchiladas. The recipes I’ve seen online are all crap, but I have a family recipe I could msg you if you’re interested ;)

Sometimes? It’s a texture and richness thing more than a structural integrity of the gnocchi thing. My gf likes it and it doesn’t actively make the recipe worse so 🤷
