my mashed potatoes keep coming out like a soup whenever i reheat them in not sure on what i did when they where made they where thick and creamy but it’s all much and like potato soup now any tips would be great

i boil my potatoes mash them then add milk cream cheese and butter

heavy cream instead of milk and cream cheese. and after you drain the water off the potatoes keep cooking them for a few minutes to get rid of extra moisture

trust you lose all good flavors and just have mashed potatoe adding them makes them 20x better at least the ingredients i use

all you need is heavy cream, butter, salt, pepper, and garlic/onion powder. you can add cheddar cheese if you want a cheesy flavor. you asked for the solution and i gave it to you! enjoy your soupy potatoes

oh now that’s too much mashed potatoes is supposed to be simple and enjoyable when you start adding seasonings other then salt and pepper i feel like we’re trying a whole new dish
