Would it be an overreaction to breakup with my boyfriend because his moms side of his family is mean asf, and his dads side is insanely dirty/messy/unhygenic ??? Somehow my boyfriend ended up perfect, and I love him so much. But I can’t take his family.

It’s worth a discussion with him for sure. Even though you are only technically dating *him*, if his family is still a part of his life then you have to interact with them as well. And if you can not find a way that works for you to be able to deal with them then the relationship might have to end

I’ve talked about the issues with his mom and her family being mean for years. I just discovered his dad’s family’s issues today. I was already considering breaking up with him just because of his mom, we’ve been together over 3 years and she’s never gotten kinder. Now that I know how gross his dads family is I might not want to try at all anymore
