Hot take: being in Greek life isn’t paying for friends, those trust fund types would be friends no matter what. What they’re paying for is parties and to live in a mansion and have private chefs and maids

Very few chapters have that in the grand scheme of things. I went to a small school so there was genuinely no benefit of joining Greek life. You’re paying money to do more work and be surrounded by assholes

Disagree my fraternity I joined was mostly about brotherhood, charity work, and sticking together. I get from the outside looking in it looks one way

Respectfully you sound like the person playing the world smallest violin, don’t cry because people are smart enough to put themselves in positions to be successful and shame those that have trouble making friends that join a fraternity to become apart of a brotherhood. If you don’t like it don’t join one then and move on. You sounds bitter probably because you got rejected from a party

You’re the one who paid for friends and couldn’t get success on your own, for free. Never went to frat parties, they’re loud, stink, and full of asshole frat boys who think they have a right to grope your ass and throw beer on you for saying no. I much prefer handing out and getting drunk with my friends, playing some pong, choosing the music we listen to, good snacks, and vibing. Which yaknow. Doesn’t have a cover charge

It’s okay that you feel rejected by fraternities but you have to learn to let it go bro
