i think frustration with your job is valid and you shouldnt be expected to do something knowing it may be physically too much for just you however empathy is a necessity in your job if you cant be empathetic and are just completely and immediately irritated by a certain group of people im not sure the job is for you they still deserve adequate care,,, just be careful your irritation isnt getting in the way of that or making their experience worse than others

i don’t hate anyone it was just a harmless vent …. i never said i wanted to inflict harm on anyone or im going to refuse care i simply said i can’t with huge ppl…. why tf are you 500+ pounds anyway? hospitals don’t even have the material to handle that weight

im saying if thats the attitude you take into every interaction w bigger individuals, theyre bound to receive bs care which they dont deserve. a lot of people have mental or physical health issues thatve contributed to them gaining a lot of weight i just dont think the mindset youre approaching these people with is good enough for the medical field i think that you should just try to be slightly empathetic is all
