Had to tell my cheating friend that she actually should NOT tell her husband to leave while I'm visiting because then he's gonna think I'm out encouraging this behavior lmao I am not!

If I were the husband, I would want you to tell me that my wife was cheating…

Me, personally, couldn’t be friends with a cheater. Immoral behavior gets shunned in my book

I don't consider it immoral, I think that's a dramatic read. But everyone's entitled to their opinion

Today I learned believing cheating is bad is dramatic

Saying something is bad is different than saying it's immoral. And you didn't learn anything except my opinion. You have yours, I have mine. Immoral to me is like rape or murder (not self defense) or enslaving people or torturing people or abusing children or pedophilia etc. Cheating just is not up there lol

You have an…interesting view on morality. Morals are what you believe is acceptable for people to do. If you do not believe something is immoral, you believe it is acceptable behavior. Insane to believe cheating is acceptable

I don't believe cheating is acceptable, I just reserve immoral for actually really bad things. I think it's unacceptable to not greet people when you enter into a room with them, but I wouldn't call someone immoral for not greeting someone. There's a thing called nuance lol some words have connotations that carry more weight than the literal definition suggest

But that’s not what immoral means. You’re literally using the word incorrectly. If you do not believe it is acceptable, you do not believe it is moral. And there are hundreds of instances where it is acceptable to not greet someone when you enter a room (they are on the phone, working, wearing headphones, sleeping, etc etc etc). You say nuance like there is no nuance in morality lol

I don't think every bad thing is immoral, because once again, connotation is a thing that exists. And in my view, it's literally never acceptable to not greet someone when you walk into a room with them. But still I wouldn't call that immoral, I reserve that for more extreme things. It's semantics lol I've told you my view, you don't have to accept it but I'm not gonna keep arguing lol I don't have to stop being friends with people bc they did something I don't find to be acceptable behavior

It's not acceptable to wear revealing clothes in an office, would you stop being friends with someone because they wore a skirt that wasn't fingertip length to work? Is that immoral to you?

We've got different morals lol I don't care. It's not my business to involve myself in other peoples relationships.
