as someone who was raised with these exact values, i couldn’t agree more. i’m 18 and absolutely love my friends and going out with them, but at the end of the day nothing is more important than family. your family has and will continue to love and support you unconditionally, and there’s no one that truly cares more about you than them. cherish them and don’t take your time together for granted. prioritize them, cause they won’t be around forever 🙏🏻
