that sucks and i’m sorry. i’d guess their yelling came as a way to avoid their own deep feelings of care, hurt, desperation, powerlessness so mb parents should just put our own egos aside and attend to our kid, now that they’ve trusted us with one of the most vulnerable things in their lives
