Not to victim blame but I think you may need to sharpen your discernment on who you let in your life. It’s a pattern. I suggest therapy to figure it out

oh most definitely its a pattern but it’s not like they’re outwardly bad people when I first meet them. a lot of them start off chill and nice and I only find out much later that they were lying and had ulterior motives or some hidden bad side
