You never know when the little things will amount to be one of the big things. I remember asking my dad to breakfast one morning after I had moved out and the relationship was a bit strained. A Perkins breakfast with their cheap coffee was just that. With him gone now, it’s one of the little things that turned into one of the big things. I’m sure you’ll remember the pizza tasting better than it probably did, and the opportunity to give him something back. Even if it was “just” a meal.
