Man just be his peace. I hate when my mom used to do this. Just bring peace when he’s home and that’s it.

I thought that doing things like the laundry and the cleaning would also bring him peace?

Yea it is, but don’t go crazy. Plus like if it ain’t a fucking horrendous in there I personally wouldn’t go nit picking the spots you ain’t clean. As long as laundry is done and house is semi clean, then I come home and you bring me peace, don’t yell at me nothing I’m happy

Yea it does but also that’s minimal compared to being a care taker after a long day. Making him feel at home

I actually already made cookie dough but I’m waiting to bake them so that they’re fresh when he gets home

I know I’m not his mom. You’re right we’re partners, so we each contribute

Damn I’m jealous of your husband lol! Could you run an errand? Maybe walk to a local flower shop and get something fresh for the house?
