No way “fat phobic” is something we’re giving a name to. Being fat is unhealthy, and has never not been looked down upon. Let’s take care of our bodies :)))

Why yall just can’t stfu and mind yall own body and business? This shouldn’t even be a discussion. Your body your business not your body not your business. You’re not helping anyone by calling out the obvious. You can help by stfu. Try it it might make you feel better.

okay but why on earth do you as an individual feel the need to point out that someone is fat? that’s just a rude thing to do to anyone.

being “fat” is not necessarily always unhealthy. some people simply carry weight differently and the healthiest way for their body to be is with a higher body fat percentage. being fatphobic is having a bias against fat people or people you consider fat. it is a real thing. being skinny does not always equal healthy. we can all take care of our bodies and be healthy and still look different

Any form of public transportation mostly or public spaces in general. Say you are going down an aisle at the store and someone who is wider than they are tall is blocking the entire width of the aisle. Not to mention as it becomes more average the average cost in health insurance rises because of health risks and insurance companies aren’t in the market to lose money.

Fat =/= unhealthy. A healthy body is different for everybody. For some people a healthy body is chunkier, sometimes it’s skinnier. It all depends. Also being fat has never not been looked down upon? Rlly? During many different eras, being fat (or like not a skinny body) was the ideal. And I agree that we should all take care of our bodies— and sometimes those well-token-care-of bodies will be fat. And that’s not bad.

I mean technically being larger was looked at as more wealthy in old times due to the ability to have a lot of food. But ever since food has widely became accessible to majority of the population you are correct. And it wasn’t that the fat was attractive it was the wealth that was attractive to clear the air on that topic.

Mmm no. While it would be truthful to say some people naturally hold weight more than others it does not mean they are healthy. More weight = more stress on your body across the board. Joints, skeletal, muscular, organs. Literally everything

You assume that because someone is bigger they’re dirty. You can be skinny and be dirty so what are we getting at here?

Anonymous replying to -> OP 5w

Huh? When did I say anyone was dirty? If you want to bring that up though we can because when you gain weight it becomes harder to reach all areas while taking a shower. That and extra folds and creases if it gets to that point are a haven for bacteria so technically yes on average would be dirtier but when did anyone bring up dirt?

Correct because I wanted to know what stereotype you were referring to that was mentioned. As that still hasn’t been cleared yet. You just brought some random talking point into it.

Anonymous replying to -> OP 5w

Right. But it doesn’t change the fact that more weight means more stress on the body. I also mentioned how “if it got to the point” where there is creases and folds then it would be on average dirtier because it’s harder to wash. Are you struggling with comprehension right now? I’m not trying to piss you off but you seem emotional and you really aren’t making sense.

I don't think you should threaten, bully, or harm anyone who I bigger than you and that's what fatphobic really is in its most simplest form so if you don't like that then you are derranged..

Being fat can be unhealthy but sometimes, it’s not in the persons control. There are medications and diseases that make it extremely difficult to lose weight. Instead of shaming these people and excluding them because of something they can’t control, let’s make them feel loved :)

Like I don’t get how ppl look at someone and hate them for existing. Atp they hate themselves so they go make someone they consider weak feel bad about themselves. Like wym you hate someone cause of their looks, their race, their gender? It’s weird and half of them in these comments wouldn’t even say this stuff in person. They’re just hiding behind a screen.
