We need a hookup culture for people who are touch starved. Instead of anything sexual, it’s just hugging or getting to hold someone in your arms

You know OP this is a thing and people even pay for this. It’s called cuddling. A normal relationship should have affection rather than hookups. Since dating has becoming devoid of intimacy, there is a rise and need for people to be cuddled and felt loved. Touch is a love language. It is sad people’s needs are falling into abstractions rather than one person sharing and caring doing a variety of things for each other.

Like I miss being in a relationship due to the physical contact of just someone’s presence being there and its been years since I’ve had that but I still miss it. I want something that’s hookup culture but that cuz I don’t want to hu with someone looking for sex just so I can lay in bed holding them if that’s not what they were looking for

I wish I had that. As a guy its awkward for other guys to do that kind of thing and I have friends who are lesbians so there’s times where I just need a woman’s touch without it being sexual or weird. Just something to remind me of what it felt like to have someone be there

Trust, there's guys that'll be comfortable enough to do that. I'm also a guy, so I know how that can feel. You'll find someone to be there to help ya until you find yourself a partner, promise ya

That’s the thing tho. Dating’s hard rn and takes months to eventually build up to when in a relationship. God forbid I don’t want to spend another $200 into a relationship only to end up with someone I find out 2 months later is afraid of physical intimacy and still leaves on their own
