Respect is a two way street just communicate directly. After I have been disrespected I have thrown out “What is your rhetoric contributing to my life” then handed my grandmother an index card with respect written on the blank side. Its the golden rule and some people wont give it to you. Don’t appease it makes them shittier ppl

It’s hard to address when you know it’s so deeply rooted into how they think. It benefits them to think about me that way cuz it means they have control, they aren’t going to want to think differently & unfortunately I’ve learned the hard way that sometimes bringing stuff up makes things 10x worse.
