You raise your kid to not be a dick, and give consequences when they are to teach them not to be. The only way you’ll have a mean kid is if you’re a shit parent

I was spanked and I don’t think it’s the right thing to do but I don’t hate my parents for it either usually I deserved it, but make sure u know forsure they did it bc I got spanked for bs I didn’t do and I made my parents life hell for a week and I still think I was in the right for doing that.
