Because he’s stabilize capitalism, further legitimizing and disguising it’s atrocities and abuses. This is how they perpetuated slavery for so long. They introduced positive reforms (like less lashings and an increased ability to buy freedom) in order prolongue it. Reformism is the antithesis to abolition.

I disagree. When people organize and fight for reforms, it awakens their class consciousness. Capitalism is flawed at its core and cannot be stabilized. When people see that the reforms inevitably fail, they will begin to seek alternatives. In this sense, someone like Mamdani is incredibly valuable, even from an anti-reformist perspective

We have a convicted felon, impeached twice, who raped children as president so the full legality of a situation clearly isn’t the most important thing. We’ve got amendments and can put things in place. Things can always be changed for the better.
