Having all white furniture is so fun till I have to do the regular cleaning/upkeep and now I can’t sit on my couch or chairs until they fully dry

I’d rather have something dark colored so I can go work on my car then sit on it

Small scuffs and marks are inevitable. Even if individually they are small and unnoticeable, eventually it will add up. It’s better for the longevity of the furniture to stay on top of removing those things routinely before it becomes noticeable

Which is so respectable. I think it’s good to have furniture that works for your lifestyle! I don’t do much that would warrant me getting dirty, and while I don’t have kids or pets, I wanna have the pretty white furniture since I know I can maintain it with relative ease:)

Washing it is gonna make it moldy if you’re air drying it

You’re…supposed to clean your couch. And it doesn’t mold because you move the cushions so they can dry properly…only takes a couple Hours. My grandparents always wash their couches.

I use a surface steamer+extractor to minimize moisture going into the cushions! The dampness stays surface level because it’s boucle, and is primarily caused by the followup conditioner/softener that I put on it. That said, don’t dump water on your furniture, because you may face mold issues

I don’t think that’s necessary or a good idea
