I absolutely agree with this it’s tone and bad character development that brings down most modern films bc some of my favorite films I’ve seen in the past year are unoriginal if I’m being honest but they knew what they were doing and hit the nail on the head a truly original film is that nice treat you get ever few years

I’m just tired of them trying to “gen z” it up. Like every character doesn’t have to be gay Every plot doesn’t need to have speech and historical moment We don’t need to include politics Like it’s a fucking horror movie trump has nothing to do with grace going into the corn fields and getting jumped by little orphan scarecrows
