Dating isn’t working because the men lack intention and effort. I could easily be in a relationship but I’m not willing to settle for a mediocre man who has nothing to offer besides what’s between his legs. Please I have one of those and it’s neon pink with 15 settings. Consistent, reliable, and I still can have my peace. I am open to dating but my standards and expectations are nonnegotiable.

For women: contribute more to a relationship than your body. A relationship thrives on different roles supporting in different ways yet still an equal level of effort. As a man who has been the person paying all the bills, cooking, cleaning, getting groceries and other domestic tasks like laundry while my girlfriend at the time was unemployed and not job searching it completely changed the way I looked at her

So women have nothing to fix, like not one issue? No accountability šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

men ain’t gotta ā€œhit the gymā€ to be desirable

This is true and after doing all this, your standards will get higher and you will want someone who also has those qualities. You will then feel shallow for not liking so many women :/

It feels like shit I promise you don’t I just lose all sense of need for a person after like a month and it’s happened like 8 times now it makes you think that your bound to be alone

ā€œeveryone likes something differentā€ = they don’t have to hit the gym to be desired. redundant reply

nah. that’s not ā€œyour standards getting higherā€, that’s you internalizing a worldview that dehumanizes the very person you were not too long ago. choosing to perpetuate the problem once things got easier on you, rather than hanging on to what you should have learned from the position you were in before

your enduring beef with one ex (hopefully you aren’t ranting like this about someone you’re choosing to still be with!!) in particular isn’t something that needs to be converted into generalized advice for all women lmao you know what it’s called when you take your frustration towards one woman and project it bitterly onto women In General? misogyny.
