“It’s in God’s hands now” “Trust God’s plan” “It’s up to God now” … Respectfully, stfu. God has a terrible track record when it comes to shitty things happening in this world.

I hate to admit it but you’re right. God did nothing to save those children on Epstein island.

exactly, why does God allow child rape and abuse and people think he’d listen to them when they pray about an exam grade?? also if the abused pray to the same God the abusers do it doesn’t make sense, the difference between me and an all powerful God is that i’d stop abuse and rape if i could immediately

I’ve never met a person who isn’t proof that god either isn’t real or isn’t good and all powerful

I’ve struggled with this so much recently. I survived a Sa, repeated narcissistic abuse, chronic illness, and a recent ectopic pregnancy. I prayed for friends in college- I got narcisstically abused. I prayed for my dream job- I get traumatized/harassed. I prayed for my baby’s safety- i ended up in the er and saying goodbye…

God was made up by humans. Humans are the real evil and there is no god.

When I was younger, and newer to the faith I saw God answering my prayers in crazy miraculous ways but now- I’m so beat down, like metaphorically I feel like a prisoner chained in a jail cell covered in scars, rocking back and forth in the corner on the floor and like tweaking out in fear over a guard simply bringing food to my cell. I’ve lost my trust in people,I’m so guarded I don’t have social skills anymore,I can’t even go to therapy and feel heard cause they don’t get trained on narc abuse…

Not to get all sappy and clique- but I still feel like the only reason I haven’t ended it all is because of God. (There’s been multiple times I thought about it) but something in me wont let go of hope (Holy Spirit?) I’m not hoping that life will get better (it won’t cause this world is broken), but hope that this life, and all this suffering is so temporary compared to eternity with him…

I may not have been promised an easy life with no trauma (John 16:33), but I was promised that he’d walk with me through it (John 14:16). When my therapist just doesn’t get it, or when people in my life don’t understand me. I know I can scream and cry at God and he’s not going anywhere. I’ve also angrily asked him a lot of questions. I don’t always get answers when I want them, but over time I start to see.

OP can disagree with me, but sharing how I survived my own trauma isn't something I need to stfu about, or apologize for 🤷‍♀️ Op had the option to turn off comments when posting this, if they didnt want a discussion🤷‍♀️
