Well considering you’re in control of your own grocery trips now, and most likely have to walk around campus a lot, it really isn’t that hard if you just discipline yourself. I’m on the same journey so I’m not a hypocritical skinny person or anything, change your habits=change your life.
well a cup of greek yogurt low fat will hve 20g of protein but less fat and protein overall then a cheeseburger(up to 50g protein) which can still leave you hungry. cheeseburger wrap can be a great idea, add a lot of vegetables and only one slice of cheese(can be a meal you reward yourself after doing two weeks or something) —> maybe a lettuce wrap?
Well if #2 wants to get to a specific calorie deficit and do it healthily, Protein shakes could be a way to get to the correct protein level since they’re also working out. Lowkey spam chicken vegetables and protein shake(even though protein powder seems sus w all the chemicals added in)
Lowkey keep doing what you’re doing, and remember to have fun. Keep a specific goal in mindset because you need motivation to keep going to the gym. Also, starting at a higher BW is actually better for gym since your body has more energy to build muscle from. Eat healthy but still reward yourself from time to time to show self love (one cheeseburger a month will not do anything lol just like going to the gym once a month isn’t enough to notice a difference)
im talking abt the obsessive regard to calorie counting and acting as if depriving yourself of food you enjoy makes a genuine difference. labeling food as good or bad isnt normal or healthy. you can literally still eat what you want and lose weight in smaller portions. also, im a ex doughball and lost 100+ lbs after having this realization. nice try tho! <3
if ur still craving these things, a diet isn’t gonna do anything. ur gonna go right back to eating this stuff and gaining the weight. try a sweet potato burger (u put SP on a waffle maker they become buns.) or a lettuce wrap burger. OR, eat a burger but eat in moderation. calorie deficit and effective workout is better than a diet. cut the snacking, the extra sugars and the sodas/liquor and add steps and you’ll be golden
Depending on what ligament you’ve injured biking is a great option! I also have bad knees (chondromalacia and a bad lcl) and switched to biking now that I can’t run much. My knee issues get worse with some repetitive movements though so i like to keep resistance a little higher and rpm a little lower (60-70rpm) to have less repetition.
