Every time i try shopping i get so overwhelmed and want to cry. I have no idea what kind of things fit my aesthetic and dont want to waste money on things that will be ugly. I dont feel like a girl why is this so hard

Just chillax. You don’t need to fit any type of presentability. Just wear what you have or find things that make u more comfy in ur body. If I may ask, what’s ur aesthetic? I can rec some websites or u can follow what #2 said and search on thrift sites bc they have a shit load of options

Im like stupid so pinterest doesnt help. Like i can never find similar things in stores/online that i see from pictures. The colors the pictures have are not like my wall color and all my furniture is different colors

Still i have a hard time with this. I will buy a shirt I like and then it doesnt go with anything I own. I'll think something looks good and then i'll realize it doesnt fit my style at all

Well that’s why u either get things that are your color (thrifting maybe!) or u can upcycle and craft new things!

Learning how to style your clothes is a skill you need to develop. I have insecurities abt my body like broad shoulders, narrow hips, wtv tf doesn’t fit the current “body standards” n over time I’ve come to learn what I think looks good on me and what doesn’t. Flared pleated skirts create the illusion my hips are wider and asymmetrical tops narrow my shoulders. Trying to replicate outfits you like online like Pinterest is a good place to start.

Thrifting clothes makes it easier to experiment w out breaking ur wallet. Try thrifting pieces you see on Pinterest to curate an outfit, if you feel like smthing looks wrong, try to figure out what exactly is throwing u off n build from there

i don’t fit any single aesthetic. i go for mainly colorful clothing and i only buy something if i have something else to wear it with already. it has to fit into my existing wardrobe
