Why? I hope you know that keeping it to yourself doesn't earn you any rewards, and no one's coming to save you

I'm not trying to be a dick, I just kinda used to be like that and I subconsciously thought staying 'strong' and silent about it made me better than other ppl somehow, and that I'd be viewed as some tragic hero or something. I used to have some realllllyyyy wack thinking 😭

A lot of people lie on them because in my experience, if you’re honest, you’ll be sent to get evaluated and they’ll put you in a mental facility. But at the same time, it kinda helped me in a way because I was placed on meds that helped me and got the help I needed. Granted, some people genuinely don’t want others to worry about them when they’re at their lowest. I’ve seen it happen before and they struggled a lot with being honest with others. But I do agree that keeping it to yourself 1/2

Isn’t helping anyone. Instead you’re just bottling up your emotions until you one day have a breakdown. 2/2
