Just so yall are aware the patriarchy hurts men too. Most men are so oblivious to it or don’t really care so they don’t take action to do anything about it

“The patriarchy” isn’t this all-encompassing boogeyman that you seem to think it is. Yes, it’s true that men are hurt by the societal expectations that people have levied against the male gender identity. The idea that men can’t or shouldn’t talk about their feelings, must remain stoic, and never display anything that could be considered a weakness DOES hurt and leads to higher rates of suicide amongst men. But also, you can’t just blame people for “not taking action to do anything about it”.

Your problem isn’t with men historically being in positions of power. Your problem is people’s attitudes about men’s mental health have remain unchanged, which is a valid issue to take umbrage with.

I mean you’re assuming things I just never said. It is individual realization of change needed and change of self/perspective to then activate group collectivism idea to create a systematic change. That’s how it works.
