A man will show you who he is in less than six months more times than not when women get pregnant. The men tell them, “ I don’t want that baby. I’m not going to take care of that baby. I’m not going to be there. I’m out” and the woman is so convinced that if she has that child, he will change. Children are not collateral. They don’t fix relationships. They make it worse.

Anyway, yes, both parties should (ideally) be enthusiastic and willing to have children, unfortunately perspectives like this are nearsighted and dismissive of a possible reality of being in a sexually active relationship 😁😁 imo this is a thinly-veiled disdain for single moms, anybody who wants to have children and is willing to accept the responsibility (and potential outcomes) of raising them should be able to! Better to be a single mom than it is to be involved in a toxic relationship!
