I literally won't talk to conservative men because if you still identify that way in America you're just dumb Oh yeah, let me date the guy who thinks vaccines are poison. That'll keep me and my future children safe!

As an immigrant that doesn’t really identify with any corner of American politics, it’s really fascinating seeing how they really programmed y’all to see things through such a narrow lens

i dated a conservative girl and when she got drunk, she would pick political fights constantly. I lost so many friends all over her wearing a “make america healthy again” hat 🤦‍♂️ It was almost cult like how she had to tote the party line and spent days unemployed listening to propaganda podcasts to turn around and pick a fight over stupid shit. Much like what’s happening today

I got vaccinated and the vaccine made me super sick and then when I got Covid I almost died. 145lbs btw. No underlying conditions.

"Does this political party think modern medicine is good or not" is not really a narrow lens lmao

I did say programmed “Y’all”. That’s both sides of the spectrum. Thinking you know someone top to bottom solely based on their political affiliation is something both sides are guilty of, and it’s not really a good thing.

If you support a political party that is trying to make it harder for people to get vaccinated and is making easier for your kids to get measles, that's not a "knowing someone top to bottom," it's knowing someone well enough to know they're an idiot

You don’t know this hypothetical person supports said party, nor do you know if they’re for vaccines or against them. All you know is they’re conservative. Lots of conservatives don’t like the current GOP, and lots of Liberals don’t like the current democrats. And PS: Women can be antivaxxers too.

Typical for a liberal. See a view point that contradicts your own and down play it. People that can’t take in evidence should not be in politics

They’re talking about measles coming back (MMR vaccine has been safe and has been tested thoroughly over decades) and you’re counterarguing with the covid vaccine which was understudied and rushed due to the aggressive need back then. Apples to oranges.

"It's not fair to say that someone who identifies as conservative identifies with the Conservative Party" Yeah that makes sense!

So because you’re liberal you identify with and support every liberal administration that has run this country in your life time? And 100% agreed with their policies?

Typical for a conservative to think that your specific experience is somehow all that important when looking at the overall safety and efficacy of a product

Vaccines aren’t all one product made the same way across the board either. Jfc y’all are dumbasses with literal 0 nuance to how you think

Never said they were, and that idea is not really relevant to the point I'm making.

This isn't just "a policy" it's a pretty core part of the American conservative ideology at the moment. See: #2 still traumatized they got sick when they took the COVID shot like 5 years ago

From where I’m standing, it’s just the blind leading the blind to a place neither even knows. He’s being lied to and you’re sitting there pointing fingers and laughing instead of actually explaining, or even attempting to explain a single thing. Moral high grounds are earned, not claimed.

I'm making a confessions post on yak my man. You're now trying to just morally grandstand because you're so smart that you don't actually think a supporter of a party likes the main things that party is doing. I'm laughing because idiots like him won. They are in control and we all suffer for it.
