**I’ve always believed that if your morals are connected to the threat of eternal damnation and punishment or blessings, you don’t actually have a moral code. If you need a book to tell you what is right or wrong, you don’t actually know.

Different states have different laws and legal ages for everything, never mind from county to country. This alone proves things deemed “moral” are subjective. With an objective view you have something to follow from our creator

I think this too! I grew up with Christianity and realized it’s mostly just talk where I live. I’d rather live and do good by my own choice than be told to do good because it feels more true than “I did this to avoid punishment”
