Oh nah. I've been faced with a few guys like this. They actually just get addicted to the chase. If you ever actually cave, at first they're over the moon thrilled and love bomb tf out of you. Then it quickly all goes downhill. Bc they don't like you at all, they just fell deeply in love with a made up concept of you in their head (plus the chase)
