anyone else feel like every time they get back up life just fucks their shit up all over again? i finally start to feel like myself after the last life ruining event just for another to happen. atp i don't ever wanna feel better, only leads to disaster

literally. i was finally ready for a relationship and this guy shows up. reassures me that he’ll ask me out someday, called me baby and sweet/pretty girl, then cuts things off because he’s not ready for a relationship. like we couldn’t at least tried and then cut things off

i told him i feel that he has commitment issues and he shyly agreed. i’m so upset that after getting out of a serious relationship two years ago, i was finally ready and he made me realize that i can love another person. it sucks because he would always reassure me that we’ll be together when he’s ready, but then cut things off

ok so great! he made you realize you can love another person. it’s important to realize that, just because u can love another person, it doesn’t mean it has to be him. you should be so proud of YOU for being able to feel like that again!! that’s a beautiful step in your own growth and healing as a human being!!
