I feel like this is what people say and then you still get stuck as a barista because no one is hiring well paying jobs anywhere

I agree that anyone *can* become successful, but it’s a lot harder for some people than for others

a millionaire-nepo-baby’s 24 hours is not the same as a born-in-poverty-crackbaby’s 24 hours, but stay out of touch ig

It was hard for my siblings and I but we did it. Raised by a single mother with 5 kids: she worked 3 jobs! we lived in a 2 bedroom 1 ba apartment with 6 of us. and we all became successful! don’t let anything in life limit you. I’m a doctor, my other siblings are doctors, nurses and engineers. Anyone can become successful. It’s about how badly do you want it!

That’s great, and I’m super happy that you were able to overcome those struggles! I just mean that millionaires don’t have to put in the same work you did to be successful, which is why your accomplishment is bigger. I also know that some of the reason why people have huge struggles is because of systemic inequality, which should be addressed too. Your struggles were tough and it’s great you overcame them - but shouldn’t the reasons certain people have those struggles be addressed?

Agree to disagree. Because I personally know millionaires who grew up dirt poor but used their talents and became someone in life! Not everyone was given a silver spoon. I feel majority of people, really got their success out the mud! And yes, those struggles should be addressed. Those who come from poverty, and make it out, just knew they didn’t want to raise their family in such condition! Certain people crave success. Others don’t take advantage of the opportunities that are given to us.
