so i’m in italy and my parents are letting me try the drinks they order (i turn 21 in sept, no real interest in alcohol even tho i’ve had some in college) AND WHY IS IT ALL SO NASTY. i thought at least wine would be sweet, how do y’all drink so much 😭

in america, the mixed drinks have like 10% alcohol and 90% everything else, in foreign countries, alcohol is usually cheaper so it’s like 50/50 that’s why it was nasty to you because you aren’t used to it and you got it strong

there’s also only 13 countries where the drinking age is 21 everyone else is usually 18+ unless you’re in germany i guess it’s 13
