The way people treat you differently when you look good is the reason I’ll always unapologetically prioritize my looks. I like being treated sweeter by society 🤷‍♀️

If you care about what society thinks of you, you have bigger issues than how you look, sweetheart. Society is going to talk about you whether you’re pretty or not, so caring about what society thinks of you is not good. There are some insecurities, and I’m being so for real if you cannot dress how you want to and be yourself. All because you don’t like how people treat you. You need to see a therapist.

Everyone deserves to love themselves regardless of how people treat them. OK, you don’t like my hair. Oh well, you don’t like how I dress. Oh well, I didn’t get up to get dressed for you. I didn’t do my hair for you. I didn’t wear makeup for you. I wore it because I like it and it fits me, sweetheart. Love yourself, and don’t worry about how ppl treat you.

Well here’s the thing whether I care or not society objectively treats attractive people differently. I personally like how I’m treated when I look good & I enjoy how it makes me feel. I don’t need therapy because of a short post lol you know nothing about me. I’ve been validated on my intelligence & other skills just as much as my appearance.

well if society validates you then you're failing to see how society is socially conditioning you to be cog in this system of social hierarchies stimulus and social societal norms...

I don’t think she or the people who agree with her understand that. They rather try and make themselves fit in with the rest of society when society doesn’t even want them.

I don’t think that’s inherently a bad thing. I’ve experienced both spectrums; also being treated badly by how I look & I prefer the opposite. If people generally treat me better & I enjoy how it makes me feel what’s so harmful in it?
