The facts I say won’t matter because men like yourself don’t respect women enough to listen. You want to talk about the military? Fine. No shit there’s more men, women haven’t always had the opportunity to serve and even to this day there’s gender roles pushed on us at an early age. That doesn’t mean any woman in the service is less of a soldier than a man. And believe it or not I do think all women should be able to shoot and fight because this world is going to shit.

Well kind of odd to assume you know what I’ll do or what I am. I do respect women that give me mutual respect. Same with a man. You respect me I respect you. No soldier is less than a soldier than another. Do some do more than others? Yes. Very true about the pushed gender roles. There are still some that are expected and more dominated by women and some by men. There are jobs that men are more suited for and some that are more suited for women. That’s a totally ok thing.

Listen I see the point you’re trying to make however I don’t believe gender defines what types of jobs you’ll excel in. It is too black and white and the reality is humans are much more complex than that. And the whole gender superiority argument is such a waste of time because we all have our strengths and weaknesses. Not sure why anyone has to be ‘better’ when we can just be equals.

Well first I’m talking about sex not gender. Gender is a whole different thing. Also seems kind of contradictory that you are saying it’s too black and white to believe that one sex is better at one job than another. For example, men are better at doing jobs like oil rigger and roofer. That’s just like factual since there are more men in that role. Also I agree yes we all have our strengths and weaknesses and that’s a good thing! The problem is there unfortunately won’t ever be equal

Do you know how to read? I said gendering jobs is too black and white. And bro you can literally say that about any job. Theres more female nurses but that doesn’t make it a woman’s career. I don’t want to be a roofer not because I’m a woman but I because Im just not fucking into it. Yes I do know how to read. I gave my viewpoint. Ok well like for example OBGYN is a heavily female led profession for the obvious reasons haha women probably wouldn’t want a man in that role. Well yeah I would say a majority of men that are roofers don’t want to be roofers. You don’t say daddy when I grow up I want to be a roofer haha they do it because it pays bills.

That’s the thing tho. The good ones are only good because that’s their only capital. If they woke up hot tomorrow or had a glow up they’d stop being good guys… so they were never really good guys in the first place.

I didn’t think I was nitpicking I just saw it as a discussion. Yeah it’s a unique situation but still going back to the point of the roofer so as another example that it is typically a man job is that women do have the ability and opportunity to be in that job. Yet women don’t go into the job. So it’s odd that women want equality but aren’t doing those jobs. So are we equal? Also the cage thing is an example that it is a possibility that could happen in a different reality.

It’s intimidating going into male dominated fields because most people hold beliefs that you do. If you focus on areas that are more conservative, you are going to see less women that hold jobs that men usually work in. Stereotypical gender norms are pushed harder there. The beautiful thing about equality is that it women don’t just have to be homemakers but also have the same opportunities as men. And for the record there’s plenty of women owned roofing companies ;)

And feminism definitely takes time it can’t be accomplished overnight but by having a closed mindset and imagining weird scenarios (yes I’m talking about the cages) it does nothing but set us back. They don’t have to be housewives. I was saying that if you look at the 20 or so years that have allowed women the opportunity to do any job they want the top 10 jobs are pretty much the same
