yes AND acting like that kind of abusive behavior isn’t more common, and even encouraged by conservative politicians is just dishonest. it’s a class issue, since most abuse is a matter of power, but let’s not pretend conservative politicians don’t lean into that kind of abusive power structure and end up hurting more people because of their whole hearted embrace of heirarchy
