I got called a whore today bc I said I don’t plan on changing my last name when I get married. Even when I said it’s bc it’s a cultural thing for me the dude still continued to insult me.

For context, in my culture women aren’t expected and usually don’t change their maiden name at all once they’re married. So it’s common (normal even) to see a husband and wife have different last names and the children have the father’s last name in my culture.
