idec what culture it is i think it should be normalized to just not take last names. i wouldnt care if my wife decided not to take my last name, shit i’d probably take hers if it’s cooler 🤣

For context, in my culture women aren’t expected and usually don’t change their maiden name at all once they’re married. So it’s common (normal even) to see a husband and wife have different last names and the children have the father’s last name in my culture.
