People who take adderall for adhd: did you notice any changes in your music taste when you started taking it?? I’ve been on it for a week and for some reason music is really boring to me now unless it’s the loudest most obnoxious dubstep

Like this is actually so heartbreaking to me because music is one of my fav things ever I’m constantly listening to music. And now almost nothing sounds good

I mean I noticed in general stuff felt sharper and brighter, but that didn’t manifest in different music taste for me. What dosage are you on if you don’t mind me asking?

I’m only on 10mg of the extended release one to start with, I can feel it working throughout the day so I’m just wondering if it could have something to do with the sudden change

Tbh it’s probably just your brain adjusting to the medication, it’s been a while since I started my meds but I upped my dose last year and I remember for a few days everything felt way overwhelming, but I adjusted quickly and felt fine. You’ll probably be back to your normal taste soon.

Happy to help! I hope the meds are working out for you otherwise, I know they’ve made a world of difference for me but they’re not for everyone.
