Also very sweet your dad wants to make your meals for you but if you’re interested in learning he should teach you!! You can also watch shows! My dad and I bonded over Top Chef and Chopped when I was younger :)

first of all. not a kid. secondly, i obviously don’t intentionally and ONLY go after men significantly older than me. a lot of the guys that r closer to my age r typically already taken or are more interested in sleeping around since they’re freshmen in college. and yes my parents love me but im obviously gonna like who i like

Also this is coming from an actual adult, I just worry about younger women. An 18 year old girl looks young and does not have the same life experiences as an older woman. Men who date 17-19 yr olds tend to either like having power over their partner or are very inexperienced in dating. Just be safe and don’t allow to be manipulating, your brain isn’t close to being developed as you think

yeah i understand and appreciate the concern. unfortunately the min u turn 18, 65% of the guys that will show u the most attention r much older whether its irl or online. the younger ones r players and the older ones r manipulators so i just try not to take anyone too srsly

I am actually sorry you’re experiencing this. I hope a good man comes into your life. But a small piece of advice, have fun when you are young, especially with your friends. Do not worry too much about dating because the right man will just appear. Most people find their husbands nowadays in their late twenties so don’t lose hope with the immaturity of guys your age! Good luck, growing up can be messy but it is usually fun

Girlllll remember you are only 18, you have a long time to find a good boyfriend ( a lot of times it won’t work out but you’ll learn from each of them). Sometimes it’s good to join clubs (volunteering, sports, reading), you can maybe find a guy w the same values and interests as you. Also your parents have given you a good model of what love should be like. You’ll be alright ! ❤️
