It’s not about sexual compatibility for me. It’s about intimacy in general. Even if it’s just cuddling or sharing a quality moment together. Like yeah who doesn’t want sex, but sex isn’t my basis for whether or not I would want to marry someone. I never had sex period, so this concept on sexual compatibility you’re presenting to me doesn’t really matter to me. It’s my understanding that commitment and discipline to stay with that person and see it through what predicates a marriage.

I’m sure it is, but it’s definitely frustrating. It’s further intensified by the fact that I lift and do physical training regularly and I know how that acts on the hormones. I’m aware of the feeling and I know where it comes from, but I feel like there’s nothing I can do to stop myself from feeling it.

Because I believe sex is reserved for when you actually love someone and you don’t marry someone if you don’t love them.
