Less so than I used to. Family dog passed away last year, and I moved away from my family so the cats are there and I had to rehome my many many fish to a friend. Currently have hissing cockroaches and isopods but I’m planning on getting some frogs or arachnids sometime.

There’s a lot of exotic roaches people keep as pets. I like hissing roaches because they’re really easy, you can handle the adults, they can’t fly, and they’re easy to get. But there’s some very pretty species out there (like Pseudoglomeris magnifica here), roaches are like an entire pet hobby for some.

The other bugs in keep (isopods, better known as rolly pollies) can also be very pretty but people tend not to be scared of rolly pollies like they are of roaches. This kind is called “rubber ducky”
