Many of the people that come to my place of work speak Spanish, so I learned a couple phrases that I frequently use, and it’s wonderful to see their faces light up when I make their day a little easier with the tiny bit of effort I put it to learn those phrases. I’m not planning on becoming fluent, a couple minutes once in a while don’t hurt. Makes my life easier too cause I don’t have to repeat myself
